Description:
Jicama (Pacchyrrizus erosus) has a single root tuber, the outer shell beige or light brown or dark brown, fleshy white or yellow-whitish ; wild bulbous in shape a lot, elongated shape. Compound leaves, leaf litter 3 ; bercuping menjari leaf blade or intact with scalloped edges ; mengetupat lateral leaflets asymmetrical to rounded eggs, mengginjal terminal leaflets. Inflorescence pseudo bunches, blooming lot. Flower petals were brown, purple-blue flowers crown or white. Fruit pods. Seeds flattened angular - rounded, green-colored brown or reddish brown.

MORPHOLOGY
1.      Root
Jicama root system of the plants root system is fibrous and forms the root of the yam (Pachyrrizus erosus) is shaped tops (napiformis) rounded base of the large roots , branches root root fibers form only in the narrow end of the tapered root . root is used as a place to store food reserves. Typically, the root of this plant will grow as the number of stored food reserves.

Stems from the yam is soft and watery (herbaceous). Stems grow perpendicular (Homo) with monopodial branches

These plants form root tubers ( cormus ) which serves as a food reserve storage . Shaped like a top round or rounded weighing 5 kg can achieve . Tuber skin thin pale yellow and white inside .
